A results-driven marketing professional with more than 20 years' experience, Wendy has a proven record of achieving business goals by planning, leading and creating multi-media communications campaigns. She is well-versed in developing on point creative for a variety of industries including education, healthcare, retirement housing, tech, and financial services using formulas that attract and retain customers. She also brings 14 years of skill working in and leading a 30-person communications department at a $520 million non-profit, community healthcare system with more than 70 locations in Upstate New York. Here, she tested methods for driving growth to a full spectrum of services with varying target audiences, generating a 3:1 return on marketing investment. She has extensive experience in the development of complex internal and external communications, including the $130 million expansion and renovation of Unity Hospital.
Wendy is known for understanding the big picture as it relates to growing organizations. She served as the director of communications for a national non-profit youth entrepreneurship program, working collaboratively with sponsors, such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Sam's Club. She also worked in the development office at a graduate college as the public relations director, served as an advertising writer in a large Rochester, New York-based agency, worked as a youth program manager for the Cornell Cooperative Extension.
As an avid community supporter, Wendy has served on the marketing committees for a variety of organizations, including the Rochester Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and Monroe County 4-H. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University.
A native of Rochester, Wendy resides in Pittsford with her husband and two children.
